ATI will launch nine Radeon HD 2000 series cards on the May 14

ATI will introduce three Radeon HD 2900 cards on the 14th of May. According to a document we've seen the most powerful one is called the Radeon HD 2900 XT 1024MB DDR4. Its TDP, thermal design power of the GPU, is an astonishing 180 Watts, while the whole board dissipates 225 Watts. LINK




ATI will launch nine cards in the new Radeon HD 2000 series on the 14th of May, at 15.00 Central European time or 9 AM Eastern time. It will start talking about nine cards, seven of which are 65 nanometre. LINK




ATI has a few new 65 nanometre cards planned for Q3 2007. One of the most interesting ones is the RV670, a 65 nanometre mainstream core with 256 bit memory interface. This card is scheduled to replace the RV570 or Radeon X1950 PRO cards. LINK
